House rules
Galiana is a civilized boat. Below are some standards everyone is expected to uphold.
-Galiana is a drug, nicotine, and even bubble gum-free ship. We consume alcohol in a civilized way, a glass of wine or a beer at dinner or a sundowner is ok, but at sea we always stay within Finnish car driving limits (0,5 promilles). Even at the shore, we can have the drinks of a proper dinner, but still do not get drunk.
-No (too) dirty jokes or too rough language - we want everybody to feel comfortable onboard.
-No peeing over the side - it is both a safety issue and a matter of acting in a civilized way. And speaking of peeing, in the head, also the guys, please sit down.
-At meals, please wear a shirt.
-We are not a nudist boat - discreetly change your clothes and move around dressed up
-Conditions allowing take care of your personal hygiene daily
-If someone in the team does not speak Finnish, the command language will switch to English.
