Light boat experience through the family and sea scouts, followed by more keelboat racing in different classes, both offshore and inshore. Did also a transfer sailing across the Atlantic. Getting to the starting line, which is known to be one of the most demanding things in offshore racing. Solving problems related to areas of responsibility is also always rewarding. For example, we have repaired six spinnakers in the tiny boat saloon. Dismasting in the Fastnet Race caused a moment of doubt about whether the project would be realized at all. Fortunately, and after hard work, we made it happen. No concrete goals. The plan is to spend time with family, my partner and friends. And possibly sail some individual races.
